Prof. Dr. Md. Mahmudur Rahman
Anwer Khan Modern Medical College authority remembers with gratitude the dedication & service of Prof. Dr. Md. Mahmudur Rahman, who died if renal cell carcinoma in 13-02-2015. Prof. Dr. Mahmudur Rahman was born on 28 March 1963 in a respected muslim family in Sreenagor, Munshigonj District. He passed S.S.C examination in 1978, H.S.C in 1980, MBBS from Dhaka Medical College in 1987 and M.Phil from IPGMR in 1994. He Joined Govt. service in 1989 and served in different capacities like lecturer Physiology, Khulna and Dhaka Medical College, Savar, Dhaka. He worked as Professor of Physiology Anwer Khan Modern Medical College since February 2009 till his death in February 2015. Anwer Khan Modern Medical College authority expresses their gratitude and thankfulness for his service in Anwer Khan Modern Medical College. We pray for the departed soul.
Dr. Mahjebin Mahbub (1990-2015)
We deeply mourn the sudden demise of our 1st batch student Mahjebin Mahbub. She died on 18-04-2015 suffering from pulmonary hypertension. She got admitted in Anwer Khan Modern Medical College in 2009. She appeared at the Final Professional Examination in July 2015 & passed the final Professional examination and become a doctor after her death. She was very amicable, docile and liked by her friends and teachers. We sincerely pray and hope that Allah gives her family strength to bear the burden of the loss and we also pray to Allah for her place in Jannat.
Afsana Elias Ety (1995-2019)
Anwer Khan Modern Medical College deeply mourn the sudden death of our 5th year student Afsana Elias Ety in a tragic road traffic accident of Mogbazar Chowrasta on 19.01.2019at 7pm. She was a promising student and scheduled to appear at the final Professional MBBS examination to be held in May 2020. Anwer Khan Modern Medical College authority prays for the salvation of the departed soul and prays to God to give strength to the family to bear this loss.
Dr. Mahtab Liaquat (1994-2020)
We the teachers, staffs and students of Anwer Khan Modern Medical College deeply mourn the sad demise of Dr. Mahtab Liaquat, (Batch-05) who breathed his last on January 20, 2020 in Kuwait at 2.45pm. and Bangladesh time 5.45pm at the age of 25 (Innah Lillahe Wa Innah Ilaihi Rajiun). He successfully completed his MBBS degree in July 2018. He was very cordial, cooperative, helpful, patient and good moral character.
We express our deepest condolences to the members of the bereaved family and pray to the Almighty Allah for the salvation of his departed soul. Ameen.
